New Patients
First Visit
In most cases, a first visit takes an hour and a half or two hours. Because we will cater the visit to your needs, we can’t provide a better estimate than that. We schedule two hours, so you’ll get our full attention. An initial visit will include a comprehensive exam, full-mouth digital x-rays, a thorough consultation, and appropriate patient education. If you do not have gum disease and you’ve had your teeth cleaned in the past year or so, you may be able to meet with our hygienist right after your checkup for a cleaning. Dr. Nicolls will plan treatment with you, if appropriate, and we’ll schedule your next visit before you leave the office.
